NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!

So its 2017, so whats happened since my last post 2 weeks ago?

Nothing.

BUT what will change is, i’m gonna be pushing this website as a maximum to let my advice and tips help people NOT quit there new years resolutions and fitness goals.

As a PT sometimes its best to let your client fail an exercise, fail a workout, why?

Because when you know how it feels to fail something, it’ll make you want that goal even more and make you ignite that fuel, light the fire we call DETERMINATION.

When you fail something in fitness it isn’t something to get upset about, its something to laugh about and smile “i will lift you 20kg barbell above my head one day, just watch” this slight mental mindset will be developed as you train more and adjust your lifestyle. Failure is something to guide you not cripple you.

Just setting your goals for the year as weight loss, fitness improvement, muscle gain etc. already says to you I WANT THIS so write it down, stick around the house make sure you wake up every morning and read it, it’ll set your mind in place for working towards this goal.

Everyday if you promise yourself to do one thing, no matter how big or small, just do one thing that counts towards the goal. it could be changing the breakfast cereal to something less sugary like oats. It could be going for walk instead of binge watching tele.

Doing one small change at a time will give you a good sense of ACHIEVEMENT.

Another technique for goal setting and ACHIEVING, is BE REALISTIC. “i want to be bulky like eddie hall in 3 months” erm, no. It has to be achievable, wright loss for the end of the year is PERFECT, because its 12 months of pure work and its achievable within a few months so by achieving that you’ll feel POWER and CONFIDENCE like you have never had before and that’s what fitness is all about.

So Make them new year resolutions, make them achievable and you’ll gain all of these:-

POWER, CONFIDENCE, DETERMINATION, SENSE OF ACHIEVEMENT, IMPROVED BODY IMAGE, IMPROVED SELF IMAGE, MENTAL TOUGHNESS, SELF MOTIVATION, HAPPIER LIFESTYLE, HEALTHY LIFESTYLE, HOBBIES YOU LOVE.

If your new years resolution is fitness related, that list above, sure is worth fighting for.
